Tell us a bit about yourself.
Previously, he spent nine years at a Microsoft partner company where he served as a coach, trainer, and team leader. Since 2022, Jan has been working as a personnel development consultant, providing training sessions tailored for managers. He is also engaged as a lecturer at the Universities of Applied Sciences in Münster and Dortmund, where he teaches “Presentation” in the Department of Business. Jan himself earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. His credentials include certifications as a trainer, such as Train The Trainer by the IHK Berlin, OKR-Master, and Trainer for Intercultural Competence, among others.

How would you define a bold choice?
Playing not to lose or playing to win? I prefer the latter. Growth can arise from uncertainty.

What is the best part of being a coach at TEDx Frankfurt?
TEDx Frankfurt is colorful, vibrant, innovative, exciting, and familial.

What is the boldest choice you’ve ever made in your life? And why was this your boldest choice? 
Asking my wife if she would like to marry me because she is wonderful. Decisions lead to satisfaction.
